Things to Do During a Weekend in Lakeland

Born & Bread Bakehouse

What started as a booth at the Saturday Lakeland Farmer’s Market has grown into an early morning rite of passage for folks in the Central Florida area. From European style pastries and bread to cheesecakes, biscuits and cruffins – a hybrid between a croissant and a muffin – you’ll quickly see why people stand in line, often around the block, for treats from Born & Bread Bakehouse.

Open only on Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., and Wednesday evening. Online ordering opens Tuesday evening.

COVID-19 Note: At this time, Born & Bread is open for To Go orders through their back patio. If you’re making a last minute decision, no worries! They make extra pastries for walk-ups.
