Pine Ridge Nature Trail at Bok Tower Gardens in Lake Wales is a longleaf pine/turkey oak habitat. The 1/4 mile walking trail takes you through a unique and quickly disappearing habitat that once covered millions of acres of the Southeastern United States.
The Pine Ridge Trail begins near Window by the Pond and ends at the Visitor Center. The 1.5 mile Preserve Trail follows a Longleaf Pine forest and former citrus groves. Both trails provide great views of Bok Tower Gardens, the iconic carillon tower. You’ll also get spectacular views across the horizon from some of the more elevated areas along the Lake Wales Ridge.
