Lake Marion Creek Horseshoe Scrub Tract

300 acre recreational area inside Lake Marion Creek Management Area east of Haines City. Vistors can hike along old roads available at Tract entrances.

Located on the Polk-Osceola County Line in Davenport, the 8,083 acre Lake Marion Creek Wildlife Management Area consists of pine flatwoods, cypress swamps, hardwood swamps, oak hammock, scrubs and freshwater marshes. White-tailed deer, feral hogs, wading birds (including white ibis, little blue heron, great blue heron and great egret) and scrub jays can be viewed during most hikes.
