Holidays at Bok Tower Gardens is an annual celebration and features over a month of special activities and events for all ages. In 2020, these special events will take place between November 27 – January 3. Bok Tower Gardens is open on Thanksgiving Day as well as Christmas Day.
Due to COVID-19, Pinewood Estate will not host Holiday Home Tours in 2020. All Holidays at Bok Tower Gardens activities require advance registration at boktowergardens.org. Physical distancing will be required and participants are required to wear a mask at all educational programs.
Holidays at Bok Tower Gardens
This year’s theme is Peace on Earth, a holiday celebration that connects us to nature, our families, and the world. Learn about Edward Bok’s legacy of peace at an outdoor exhibit located around the Oval Lawn.
Critter Christmas at Pinewood
Tucker and Tilly, the Pinewood Estate squirrels, have invited their forest friends to bring the spirit of the holidays outdoors. Fun for the entire family, Tucker & Tilly will be hiding in the estate’s gardens. Pick up your Critter Christmas Guide and find each of these forest friends. Complete the hunt and present your guide for a treat at The Shop at Bok.
Thanksgiving Day in the Gardens
Thursday, November 26 | Concerts at 1 PM & 3PM | Free for members, included in general admission.
Opening at 10:00 a.m., spend a day of celebrating the year’s blessings at the Gardens, highlighted by two carillon concerts of Thanksgiving.
Nature Adventurers: Creating an at Home Nature Museum
Saturday, December 5 | 10-11 AM | Free for members, $15 per family for non-members.
Found objects of nature can be a powerful teaching aid and build a connection for children to the natural world. Families will learn how to create an environmentally friendly space to bring nature to their home. Register for Creating an at Home Nature Museum.
Ring the Holidays Concert featuring the Silver Bells Big Band
Saturday, December 5 | 6-9 PM |$20 for members, $25 non-members.
