Harry’s Old Place

Harry's Old Place has been serving up a large selection of fresh fish in Winter Haven since 1992. The restaurant features a full liquor bar with craft cocktails, seafood, steaks, chicken and pasta. Harry's is on the shores of Lake Ned.

Dining at Harry’s Old Place

Knowledgeable and friendly staff makes you feel like family from the moment you walk through the door. Daily specials are written on chalkboard-covered walls. If you want to order like a local, pay attention to the writing on the walls. Harry’s Old Place serves sweet tea Mason jars and homemade bread. This casual restaurant remains true to its old southern charm.

Fan-Favorite Menu

You can’t go wrong with anything on the menu at Harry’s Old Place, but there are a few items that are near and dear to a many of Polk County natives. Favorites include sweet and spicy shrimp, grilled Blue Marlin, Harry’s In a Bag (pecan-crusted Grouper), baked oysters, fried Grouper, blackened Red Fish and fried gator bites cooked to perfection. Oh, and anything written on the wall.

Non-Seafood Options

Harry’s knows seafood is not for everyone. Harry’s aims to please with filet mignon, garlic rib eye, and New York strip steak. Grilled chicken is served plain, Cajun or barbecue style along with other sandwich and burger options.
