The Museum offers a variety of year-round educational experiences for all ages including camps, tours, workshops, and speaker presentations. Highlighted Exhibits

Howard Hughes

The Florida Air Museum is home to the personal aviation collection of Howard R. Hughes. Museum visitors will see unique artifacts that include Mr. Hughes’ flight suit and an oxygen mask carried on his round the world flight.

Naval Aircraft

The Museum’s collection of military, commercial, and experimental aircraft is diverse. Must-sees include the Convair F2Y Sea Dart, F-14 Tomcat, and a full-scale replica of the Wright Flyer.

Innovations in Propulsion

This exhibit displays a collection of engines representing innovations in propulsion that have occurred across the last century. Can’t miss artifacts include the interactive Pratt & Whitney R-4360 Wasp Major and the intricate Ion Engine utilized by spacecraft exploring deep space. You’ll discover how the realm of flight took to the skies higher, faster, and more efficiently than even Da Vinci could have imagined.
