Fourth of July Events in Central Florida 2021

Get ready for plenty of family-friendly, Fourth of July fireworks fun in Polk County! Join us in the celebration and remembrance of those who risked their lives for our freedom.

2 Days of Fireworks Fun

Beginning July 3 and lasting through the night of July 4, you will find Independence Day celebrations going on throughout the county. However you choose to celebrate, we wish you a safe holiday!

Celebrations on July 3

Rock N’ Freedom Fest

Chain of Lakes Stadium – Winter Haven; 6:00 p.m.-9:00 p.m.

Celebrate Independence Day at Rock N’ Freedom Fest! Starting at 6:00 p.m., bring the whole family and enjoy music, children’s activities, and food trucks. Then, stay for the main attraction, the fireworks show, which will be sure to amaze the entire crowd.

Red, White & Kaboom

Lake Mirror – Lakeland; 6:00 p.m.

Celebrate the 4th of July downtown at Lakeland’s annual Red, White & Kaboom event. Enjoy live music from Clemons Road, blending Country music with an island feel or vice versa, and be sure to catch the breathtaking fireworks display at 9:00 p.m.

Red, White and Boom at LEGOLAND

LEGOLAND Florida Resort – Winter Haven; July 3-4

Celebrate the 4th of July with a bang at LEGOLAND Florida Resort during Red, White and Boom. With special 3D glasses that turn ordinary fireworks into millions of exploding bricks, this July 4th celebration is sure to dazzle and delight.

Thunder on the Ridge + Ribs on the Ridge

Lake Eva Park – Haines City; July 3-4 (fireworks on July 4 only)

A variety of artists take the stage each year during Thunder on the Ridge, beginning at 3:00 p.m. followed by the largest fireworks display in Polk County. There will be plenty of arts, crafts and food vendors, a beer garden and other activities on site. Come join the fun! In 2021, Thunder on the Ridge will be hosted in conjunction with Ribs on the Ridge which is one of Central Florida’s largest barbecue festivals.

Davenport 4th of July Celebration

Lewis Mathews Sports Complex – 400 Palm Street, Davenport; 3:00 p.m. – 9:30 p.m.

Join the City of Davenport for live entertainment, food vendors, and a fireworks display at 9:15 p.m. For more information, call 863-419-3300.

Fireworks at Auburndale City Beach

Ariana Park – Auburndale; 2:00 p.m. – 9:30 p.m.

Join the City of Auburndale in the Independence Day fun at Auburndale City Beach. There will be fun family activities, food, entertainment and fireworks.

Fourth of July Fireworks of the Shores of Lake Wailes

Shores of Lake Wailes – Lake Wales; 2:00 p.m. – 9:30 p.m.

Don’t miss the annual firework celebration on the shores of Lake Wailes in the city of Lake Wales featuring a DJ, food and craft vendors, games, bounce houses, pony rides and more. Fireworks will begin at 9:15 p.m.

Bartow 4th of July Fireworks

Mosaic Park & Bartow Civic Center – Bartow; 2:30 p.m. – 9:30 p.m.

The celebration will begin with a patriotic concert from the Bartow Adult Concert Band, at the Bartow Civic Center from 2:30 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. The 4th of July Extravaganza is set from 4:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. at Mosaic Park. This event features live music, food vendors, games, and much more. And, at 9:30 p.m., it’s time for the big event: the fireworks display.
